Terms of Use
Effective October 12, 2026. These terms cover the document tools and information provided by WordOnline.
Using the tools
You may use the tools for documents you own or are authorized to process. You remain responsible for your content and for checking the result before sending, publishing or relying on it. You keep ownership of your documents; using a tool does not transfer that ownership to WordOnline.
Free access and limits
All current tools are free, with no account, ads, payment or added watermark. Editing is unlimited. Successful processing tasks are limited to 10 per browser per local day, with a 25 MB limit per file and up to 20 files in a merge. The counter resets at local midnight. Failed processing attempts do not consume an allowance, and reaching the limit does not lead to a paid upgrade.
Saving and reviewing results
Download a result to keep it. The local workspace is not cloud storage, a backup service or a promise of recovery after closing the browser. File compatibility and layout can vary across applications and fonts. Review converted and merged documents, including page order and formatting, before use.
Responsible use
Do not use the site to violate others’ rights, interfere with the service or distribute malicious files. Templates provide a starting structure and may need substantial changes for your circumstances. Contract and invoice templates are not legal, financial or tax advice.
Availability and external projects
The service and linked projects may change over time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that a document will look identical in every application. Official ArtCraft applications and other linked products have their own licenses and terms. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
