A SIMPLE WORKFLOW

Edit a spreadsheet in three steps

  1. Open CSV or XLSX

    Choose a spreadsheet from your device. The data is read in your browser rather than uploaded.

  2. Update your cells

    Review rows and columns, then change the cell values you need. This workspace focuses on everyday data editing.

  3. Save CSV or XLSX

    Choose CSV for a plain table or XLSX for a spreadsheet file. Download the result and check the data before using it elsewhere.

Is GridCraft a grid or layout generator?

No. GridCraft is the spreadsheet and data analysis app in the ArtCraft suite. This WordOnline page provides a lightweight CSV and XLSX editor.

Is this a complete Excel replacement?

This browser workspace is for viewing and editing spreadsheet data, then exporting CSV or XLSX. It does not promise every advanced Excel feature. The official GridCraft project has its own feature set and releases.

What is the difference between CSV and XLSX?

CSV represents a plain table of values. XLSX can contain multiple worksheets and richer spreadsheet information. Choose an output format that suits the data you need to keep.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. Document content is processed in your browser’s memory and is not uploaded to our servers. Download your result before closing or clearing your workspace. Recent files store only local file information, so reopening requires selecting the original file again.
